Pretty sure Sabrina Elba’s see-through mini dress is actually a pair of tights

Sabrina Elba is known for a trend-led, polished and minimal style aesthetic we long to recreate in our dreams. If you follow the model and wife of Idris Elba on Instagram, you'll no doubt know this first-hand thanks to the almost-daily outfit posts she shares.

Her wardrobe is full of expensive-looking oversized tailoring, elevated cool-girl basics and sexy evening dresses. And that's before we've even mentioned her accessories game. Think in-demand designer arm candy and jewellery so sparkly it resembles a disco ball. Whatever the occasion, she nails it.

The secret to her sartorial success? She's not afraid to take a risk. Take her latest social media post for example. Sharing photos and a short video clip with her 844,000 followers, Sabrina can be seen modelling a *very* see-through Saint Laurent mini dress that takes naked dressing to the next level.

The dress in question is from the Saint Laurent womenswear autumn winter 2024 collection that incorporated a number of see-through looks. Constructed from nude-coloured totally transparent fabric, the dress looks like it could have been made out of tights. A fact only emphasised by the folded-over band neckline and the exposed seam running down the centre of the dress – both design details resembling the waistband of a pair of tights.

Sabrina went braless in the risqué number but did wear a pair of nude high-waisted knickers under the dress. She added tights, a thin black leather waist belt and maroon peep-toe heels to complete her ensemble, just as the model on the runway did to debut the look. She ditched the skull cap and choker scarf in favour of freeing her curly bob haircut and accessorised with gold interlocking hoop earrings.

Sabrina's followers were loving the look, taking to the comments section to write:
