Only Murders in the Building is back, which means it’s once again time to put our detective skills to the test—and, on the side, feverishly search where Mabel Mora got her outfits. The character played by Selena Gomez has become a bit of a modern TV style icon, with her collection of brightly colored coats and cozy sweaters from past seasons. Her headphones, orange jacket, and plaid pants have become instantly recognizable. Even her bloodstained white sweater earned her #BloodyMabel fame (at least on the show). Though Only Murders isn’t exactly a show about fashion, clothes are integral to Mabel’s prickly character.

“Her whole concept was basically that her costumes were a type of armor,” costume designer Dana Covarrubias previously told ELLE.com. “So she’s using these really bright colors in the same way as an animal with a brightly colored coat: ‘Beware. Danger. Leave me alone. Back off.’”

In season 4, that armor is made of sequins, some chic khaki, and much more. Here’s how to recreate some of Mabel’s looks, just in time for fall.

Mabel sports some fun patterns underneath her coats, too. In episode 8, she pops in a two-tone geometric print top by Simon Miller. She keeps the rest of the ensemble quite simple, with a pair of twisted hoops and navy pants. Try these options from Missoma and Everlane respectively.

Mabel Mora might be the queen of coats, but her sweater game isn’t so bad either. For a trip out to Long Island with Charles and Oliver, she sports a gingham cardigan (you can shop a navy version below) with trousers, a perfect fall combo.

Thanks to a photo shoot in episode 5, Mabel returns to her signature combo of a canary yellow sweater and cropped jacket, paired with plaid trousers and boots. She continues wearing the outfit in episode 6, after a shooting sends her and her friends on the run. Here are a few similar pieces to her ensemble.

Ok, Mabel might not have worn her patchwork coat for long in episode 5, but she did follow up with another chic jacket and miniskirt combo. (This is becoming a signature of hers.) Over a simple black top, she wore an olive jacket paired with a tweed skirt, tights, and a pair of slouchy over-the-knee boots.

We know Mabel loves a good fall coat, and this might be her best one yet. It’s a shame it only appears in the last scene of episode 4, but fingers crossed she’ll wear it again this season. While the exact match from Rixo is sold out, the brand has a similar version for sale this season. Complete the look with a pair of knee high suede boots, like these from Sam Edelman.

Mabel continues her chic skirt streak with this contrast-stitch number from Cinq à Sept. But the real hero of the outfit is her black shearling jacket—a fall staple. Nearly every brand has its own take on the style, but this one is by Simkhai.

In episode 3, Mabel wears an asymmetrical black and white check skirt with a black cropped jacket, tights, and black platform boots. While a more exact match of her skirt (by Akris) is sold out, a dupe is available on Amazon. Complete the copycat look with a top by COS and Steve Madden booties.

As she tries to solve the case of Sazz’s murder, Mabel wears a chic spin on the detective trench coat. This pleated version is by the French brand Sandro, which pairs nicely with her Ganni argyle sweater and gold jewelry by Rellery.

In episode 1, Mabel goes business casual for a big meeting with Paramount Pictures about potentially turning the Only Murders in the Building podcast into a feature film. She joins Oliver (Martin Short) and Charles (Steve Martin) dressed in a tan, cropped jacket and matching pleated skirt, over a black turtleneck and black tights. She accessorizes with a pair of chunky gold hoop earrings. Paparazzi caught Gomez filming in the look in March earlier this year.

Mabel attends a party hosted by the studio wearing a blue-green dress covered in sequins. For more sparkle, she wears dangling earrings with the plunging number and pins her hair to the side. The New Yorker is fitting into Hollywood just fine.

Longoria, one of this season’s many guest stars, appears in episode 1 as herself, having been cast as Mabel for the film. Dressing as her character, she puts her own spin on the beanie-orange-jacket-headphones look, this time wearing an orange cocktail dress. If you’re looking for a more glam take on Mabel, look no further than the Hollywood version.
