Marks and Spencer has got us well and truly in the holiday spirit with their new M&S Food advert - however, it’s not just the party picky bits we’ve been eyeing up for the big day. Starring Dawn French, the advert highlights the selection of festive food on offer at the retailer for Christmas - but it’s the comedian’s outfit fashion fans have been eyeing up.

In the first of a six-part ad series, which launched today, an exhausted French finds herself already hum-bugging over festivities, until her fairy friend steps in to help transform her home, and her outfit into something more party appropriate. In the blink of an eye, The 67-year-old goes from wearing a pair of checked pyjamas, to a glitzy dress fit for a Christmas party.

Commenting on the advert on Instagram, fans have swooned over her glam look, commenting: “Can we get a link for the dress she is wearing, please?” and “Are Dawn’s dress and sparkly earrings available?”
